Lastnight was the Medtronic TC 1-Mile Race through downtown Minneapolis. It was a really well organized event. The atmosphere was great. The cheering and yelling running down Nicollet Mall was awesome. And I got to run the race with Kat by my side!
Unfortunately, we ran in the wrong heat. “Friends & Family” = My pace. “Open Wave” = FAST RUNNERS. We finished nearly last in the heat, but Kat talked to me the entire race, and overall, it was a really fun night!

I got photo-bombed! Someone I know took this photo, posted it to Facebook and tagged me, but didn't say "hello"!
Thanks to Jay, Brady, Kat, Hannah and Carrisa for a really fun night! Loved spending time together!!
And a special “thanks” to Kat for running by my side, distracting me, doing the “Superman That Ho” atleast 3 times during the race, encouraging me, pushing me, and doing the pageant-wave with me to all of our cheering (and adoring) fans. You are amazing!!
And now? It’s Friday. Happy Weekend-ing.

YAY!!! Seeing these pics make me miss the girls!
glad you had a good time!
Yay neon and sparkles!
Love it!
Congrats on running in a group you may not have been totally comfortable with but sounds like you totally rocked it! Great job and it sounds like you had a blast doing it.
P.S…I love all the sparkles!
How fun! I adore those headbands, they are fantastic!
Um, I don’t know how to tell you this, but that’s not what photobombed means. That’s just someone taking a photo without your knowledge.
I know it’s not a “photo-bomb”. It just sounded better than saying, “I got my photo taken without my knowledge.” – apparently my attempt at humor didn’t translate into the photo caption. Thanks for the heads up!
